A shooting suspect is in custody tonight after a shooting incident in Battlefield,Mo.

Greene County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a shooting call in the 3800 block of West Gardinia, upon responding to the incident in Battlefield,Mo. officers located two suspects running from the scene of the shooting, according to law enforcement radio traffic one suspect had a AR 15 rifle in his possession, they located the suspect in a field near 4300 block of West Bull Run Battle street where he was taken into custody.

The shooting victim was transported to the hospital with unknown extent of injuries. This incident is still under investigation.
