Hi, my name is Logan, or Logey Bogey, or puddin pie � I am a Chinese Crested mix and I am 2 and a half years old. Today my mommy took me to the vet for it feels like the 50th time, and I started taking Phenobarbital, which is an anti seizure medication. My dear mommy, she cries more than I do when she leaves for work, because the doctors just don't know what's wrong with me. You see, I started ha

ving "episodes" or "fits" as she likes to call them about a year and a half ago. That was when my mommy first took me to the doctor for them and they thought they were seizures, but my fits haha, sorry, funny word, last sometimes 9 hours. Anyways, my sissy has seizures periodically and they last about a minute or so, never the less, they're very violent and scary for all of us, especially mommy. My fits come on as fast as they go. These fits were coming every few months, but here lately its so often, they come sometimes everyday. Ive had bloodwork done several times, and We have been told, a failing liver, mommy changed my diet. Then allergies, mommy changed my food. An infection, mommy tried another antibiotic. My mom thought it could've been vestibular disease, but my Doctor does not.. All of these changes, and I'm still having fits Have you ever heard such a thing? And now were back to epilepsy. My poor mommy cries alot. She holds me and comforts me, and cries and cries. She feels so helpless. I am her best friend, and she is mine. She told me she was starting this page for Help and Awareness. Well, enough of that. Let me tell you about my family. I have brothers and sisters. Some look just like me!! 1 is my litter mate brother, his name is Victor Hops, and boy can he jump. Oh.another thing, I don't ever jump, never have, and my sissy is 8 years older than us, her name is Josie. My other sissy is very big and hairy. She is so good to us, see we all only weigh 5 lbs. She weighs a thousand pounds. Mommy calls her Yoffee. I think that means Shepards pie? Us littles love to run so fast through the house my mommy swears she's raising baby elephants. We may be small, but we're loud and mighty. Did I tell you? I LOVE TREATS! Want to know my favorite? Sugar Snap Peas, yep, mmm. They're my ace boom! Please follow me and mommy, and if you have any suggestions, or if you've experienced such things (my mommys fingers look blistered from all the research she does) we would love to hear from you! Oh, did I tell you?. I am so darn cute and loveable, take a look around. PS: I have to apologize, my mommy is going to post some videos of my fits. UPDATE:
Sorry I haven't been on here. I've had so many adventures lately with my mom and brother. You're not going to believe this... We get to go with our mom and stay in hotels while she works out of town and out of state. My mom is so happy that she found such a great company to work for, and they specifically put us up in pet friendly hotels. Okay okay... So here's my update....
If it wasn't for her wonderful company, we would not have been able to narrow this down... We first stayed out of town for 3 weeks, and now we've been here in Memphis for over a month. We recently went home just for 2 days and I had fits both days. They were the first ones I've had since we have been traveling. My mom can't figure out what it could be, besides something environmentally that's at my home and not here at the hotels. She uses different cleaners and such all the time, so that can't be it. She doesn't spray for weeds or anything. But is it possible that it's an allergy that affects me neurologically? Could it be my big brother and sister shephards? I'm happy to say we can narrow it to home, but..... Now what? I don't want to be allergic to my home.... I wanted to post, to pick your brain. My mom's picked hers so much, I'm surprised she still has one HAHAHA just kidding, but maybe you know someone you can ask, or have heard of it, or experienced it yourself. My vet won't see me anymore, unfortunately. They said they cannot figure it out and all they can do now is refer us to the University in Columbia , MO for further tests. My mom says it's VERY EXPENSIVE. I know she would give her left leg to take me if she could. Enjoy my video. It was a nice 60 degree day here last week. Hope to hear from you soon.

Update!! We have bumped his phenobarbital from 1 tablet daily, to 2. Knock on wood, he hasn't had a fit in over a week... He is hungry and sleepy all at once, it seems. Hopefully this side affect subsides in time, Shh don't tell him I said this, but I think he's gained 2-3 lbs.... I am having to monitor his big sisters food bowl, because after finishing his, he's been moving onto hers...
