Water based stain mixed with heat and humidity doesn’t go well!

I’ve used water based stains before with these steps and it turned out beautiful!

Then summer hit, and it hit different!

When I attempted to use this stain outside while temps were in the 90s with 80% humidity I couldn’t work fast enough!

Here’s what I learned👇🏼

🗣️MOVE INSIDE🗣️

-Water Based Stain has a low VOC so your house won’t be filled with an odor.

-There will be a better work time with the stain, leading to a better finish.

When I was staining outside I’d wipe the stain on and it was already drying before I could wipe it back!
The stain was so uneven, I kept having to wet my surface, wipe it all off and start again!

Is Beautiful and high quality, I’d definitely recommend their water-based line!

The Salic hardware, the bugs, the damage, the size, the lack of desire for a piece like this in my market. All of it was just too much to put in the time it would’ve taken to transform this piece into something desirable. Would you buy a piece of furniture like this?
