IT’S MY BIRTHDAY! I was actually born on Thanksgiving Day first thing in the morning, so OBVIOUSLY food and feeding people was always going to be a huge part of my life.
First it was my beloved that I started out of my home kitchen in 2015 and eventually built into the highest-rated eatery in Spring Hill, TN!
Then it was feeding people thru Covid with Ding D**g Ditch Cookies & Cinnamon Rolls AND online and in-person baking courses!
Next it was a cookbook highlighting all of my bestsellers, family recipes, and tons stories about how food and togetherness go hand in hand. And YES, even THE Martha Stewart has a copy! (Congratulations on your 100th book, You’re the BEST!)
Next I began this food & product photography business to help other small businesses up their game and showcase their hard work in the best light.
And now, adding onto that, I’m bringing back Spring Hill’s favorite cinnamon rolls with next month!
It’s been a wild ride to 42, but I can already tell that the future is BRIGHT and the opportunities are PLENTIFUL. Cheers!

When I started the bakery, I didn’t think of myself as an entrepreneur. More of just a hobby baker who wanted to maybe make a few bucks and help out with bills. As things grew–and I grew–I began to gain confidence and started dreaming bigger. It led into a storefront, a book deal, lots of articles and some tv appearances, and food photography.

Entrepreneurs have to wear a lot of hats, learn quickly, be willing to change course as needed, and seize opportunities as they come. It’s been a wild ride and I can’t wait for what’s coming next!

It’s International Girl’s Day, so obviously I’m gonna share some photos of my favorite girl, Mae! You may remember seeing her at farmers markets and bread stands with me, or running around at the bakery helping with literally every aspect of the business from baking to marketing. There’s seriously nothing this girl can’t do!

But more than what she can do professionally, she’s so kind, so intelligent, hilarious, gorgeous, courageous, and determined. It’s been so cool to watch her transform from a precocious little girl into this absolutely amazing woman. Can’t wait to see all of the wonderful things she’s gonna do!

P.S. She just turned 20 on Monday!
