🌟TESTIMONY🌟 Today a caring and concerned dad who lives in Wisconsin called the shop. He wanted to bless his daughter who was at The Awaken House working. She’d had the worst week apparently and needed a place to recoup, get some work done and have some space. Through weepy and broken sentences, the dad ordered his daughter a muffin and coffee and paid for it over the phone. As his grateful daughter approached the counter, with tears in her eyes, we hugged and I told her how happy I was that she chose to spend her day with us at The Awaken House. It’s moments and encounters like this that bless me more than I could ever put into words. Raw, authentic, real life moments where a dad cared enough to call a coffee shop hundreds of miles away just so his girl would know how loved she is. The Awaken House is not just a coffee shop. It’s a sacred space where every person matters and where we strive to create an environment of holy hospitality. So, come to the house. We’re expecting you.
