From 3 hour dance engagements to 60-90 minute shows for attentive audiences looking for a show, Joanne has been an extremely bright light. UPDATE: WE HAVE KEYBOARDS, 1 GUITAR AND A BASS FOR SCHOOL OF ROCK. WE STILL NEED TO FIND ADDITIONAL GUITARS FOR SCHOOL OF ROCK AND CARRIE, AS WELL AS A CELLO PLAYER.

Stage West Playhouse in Spring Hill, FL is looking for musicians to fill the pit for our upcoming productions of School of Rock (show dates March 14-23) and Carrie the Musical (show dates May 2-4). These are PAID positions and require additional rehearsal days.

Thank you so much to Roslyn Franken for putting together this wonderful review of our Hurricane Relief Show!! We raised $4545.00 for those affected in our community with all proceeds going to the United Way of Hernando County!! This is by far the proudest work I've ever done.

WE ARE LIVE!!! I just want to say thank you so Pam Dugle, Michelle Anne Root, and so many of the other people at Stage West Playhouse who have moved RAPIDLY on putting this hurricane relief show together. We have 15 acts signed up so far, their names will be published in the next day or two.

Tickets are available at this link. EVERY SINGLE DOLLAR is going towards hurricane relief efforts. No performer, agent, theater, or volunteer is taking revenue. Every piece of this effort if tireless volunteerism and I am so delighted and proud to be a part of it.

Including casino vendors, showgirls, classical trios, and Ice Sculpture vendors, all of which made this event special from start to finish! Thank you Elliott and we can't wait for the next one!

Hunt Talent LLC Spotlight!!

Virtuoso Pianist Mia Vassilev started playing (or making noise) from the age of 3 and has performed throughout Europe, Asia, Latin America, and the US.

Recordings include Several Times, the chamber music of Dennis Kam, released by Navona Records, the Naxos album Del Caribe, Soy!, Ecstatic Records’ MIAMI GRANDS, composed by Michael Torke.
Most recently Mia has released her solo albums, VELVET NIGHTNOTES and PIANO ON THE RUN! She has also released two singles – MOONLIGHT SERENADE and the proclaimed Classical genre and Electronic Dance Music genre mix TOCCATA.

Originally from a small town in Kansas and based in Miami Beach, she is a frequent soloist with the Hallendale Symphonic Pops Orchestra, the Alhambra Orchestra, the Sugar Pops Orchestra, and the Klezmer Company Orchestra in Boca Raton, and, when wearing her glasses, is an adjunct Professor of Piano at Barry University in Miami Shores.

She holds degrees, awards and assistantships to the doctoral level from Kansas State University, the University of Cincinnati-College Conservatory of Music, and University of Miami’s Frost School of Music and was a New World Symphony piano fellow.

Mia has worked as a chamber musician and opera accompanist, working for tours and production rehearsals with the Metropolitan Opera (NY), Glimmerglass Opera (NY), Florida Grand Opera, Cincinnati Opera, Opera Theatre and Music Festival of Lucca, Italy, the American Institute of Musical Studies Festival in Graz, Austria. She has produced and directed epic 10-piano original shows locally. She currently performs her solo show, MIA, nationally.

Mia’s hobbies include falling down in skis at high speeds and reading Ayn Rand.
