* At 237 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 6 miles northwest of Albion, moving east at 25 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include... Albion... Marengo... Springport... Parma... Tompkins...

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

At 736 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Stockbridge to 8 miles southeast of Albion, moving east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

* Tornado Warning for... Northeastern Calhoun County in south central Michigan... Northern Jackson County in south central Michigan... Southern Ingham County in south central Michigan... Southeastern Eaton County in south central Michigan...

* Until 715 PM EDT.

* At 610 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms capable of producing tornadoes were located along a line extending from near Eaton Rapids to 5 miles southeast of Marshall, moving northeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter and protect yourself from flying debris.
