Going to hit a new coat of white paint in my home photo studio been getting it cleaned and set back up because I want to shoot! Going through my lighting gear and I tend to like the look of tungsten vintage continuous light with either a silver or gold umbrella or both with my strobes and with or without colored gel filters!

Had to change the date of our Checkerboard show due to our new drummer Flor having gigs at Cruisers with her other band. Our second practice sounded pretty kick ass last night!

A week before the Checkerboard in September we play a 2-hour set at Northwest Pagan Fest it's going to be a great set would love to have a lot of dancers for this community event! A lot of people will be at the stage as we end our set, and the raffle will then begin!

I just worked some additional parts on the songs for our new album definitely going to use my mandolin on some tracks I tuned it to the key of G sounds really cool I might add some 12 string to been looking for a good deal on one.

This isn't even mastered this was the first video I shot to start my YT ... took me a few times to shoot the first one was difficult I was worried I wasn't going to make it through but did now it's easier. I've reworked the guitar lines (Thank you Emily Rose Hastings, she gave me further ideas) it's a very personal song which will be on our new album it's about the unexpected death of my sister Stephanie Kaye RIP I love you!

I'm doing some shifting around in my studio and ran across this amazing Kwan Yin flute in C # pentatonic minor that my ex wife Nicole and I built this is probably from 2009 I think but we used to sell flutes around the world and her carvings and art people wanted and a lot of custom work cane through my website. Thank you Nicole for all your hard and incredible work on the flutes! I'll start playing this one to honor that there are songs I can use it in!

Going to schedule a Dream Quest Experience photo shoot with photographer Shane Ridley-Stevens for the band next weekend on Saturday if that works for all ... what dancers of ours would like to be in these shots ... some will go on the new album cover we're going to record with our new drummer Brooks Malika Maj shortly ... say hello to him he's our new drummer!

So incredibly stoked to have Brooks Malika Maj as the new drummer for The Dream Quest Experience! Granted he is in many bands around this area :) and we can see why. He is an amazing, gifted drummer! The band will be playing at Burning Cow Barter Faire for sure on the 27th of this month! We're pretty excited to be back and ready to go!

The Dream Quest Experience will put on a mini-fest at a northside Spokane venue with a few bands this summer any of my friend's bands interested in playing this DM me on it. Also, we will have a few vendors selling items and I have some ideas, some friend's I'm going to talk with about that end of the fest.
