KSBN welcomes these great new Law Enforcement officers in Spokane County!
Sheriff’s Office Welcomes 4 New Lateral Deputies
On Friday morning, October 16, 2020, Spokane Valley Police Chief, Undersheriff Dave Ellis, swore in four new Lateral Deputies and welcomed them to our agency.
Deputy Joshua Cotteen was previously employed as an Officer with the California Highway Patrol (2015-2019) based out of the Riverside California area. He is 31-years-old and a California native but decided to move to North Idaho in 2019.
Deputy Christopher Kyle is 35-years-old and a Spokane native. He attended Rogers High School and Eastern Washington University. Since 2011, he has served the citizens of Washington State as a Washington State Patrol Trooper, as a King County Sheriff’s Office Deputy since 2016, before moving back to Spokane and earning a position with our agency as a Spokane County Sheriff’s Deputy.
Deputy Alex Lever is from Western Washington and 31-years-old. Since 2015, he was a Police Officer with the Everett Police Department and previously served our Country honorably in the United States Marine Corps from 2008-2012 with the 2nd Recon Battalion, Camp Lejeune.
Deputy Riley Sullivan is 36-years-old and previously employed as a California Highway Patrol Officer from 2016-2020, assigned to the Napa California area.
