This is David from Out Carolinas. I traveled to Asheville this morning to participate in the 5k in celebration of 2024 June Pride Month. Met some great folks, had a good time. …and finished the race without needing EMS 😁. I did okay for a 65 year old. Looking forward to next year.

Hello all. We have received several more notices of Pride events over the past week and will get them added to the calendar soon.
Apologies for the delay, so many events, so little time. On top of that I’ve been trying to get some running in. I’ve entered the Blue Ridge Pride 5k event scheduled for this weekend. At age 65 there will probably be more walking than running on my part but I’m looking forward to sharing the experience with my LGBTQ extended family.

Join us for our FREE Pride in Business Expo & Career Fair on May 2nd, 2024, 11 AM - 4 PM at Junior Achievement in Camp Northend! Explore a diverse showcase of small businesses, non-profits, and corporations, offering products, services, and employment opportunities for all.

In addition to the exhibition hall, we will host breakout sessions with industry experts, a Walk-In Workshop for those seeking assistance with employment, resumes, and social media, and numerous giveaways throughout the day.

We upgraded some software and updated the website this weekend. We moved a few things around too. Sort of a spring cleaning if you will.
A new page has been created that lists all the major pride festivals in the Carolinas. Sort of a quick reference guide. It is titled "Pride Festivals 2024".
The festivals are still listed on the event calendar, along with other smaller, pride related events.
The Pride groups page was also streamlined and updated.
Sorry for the changes, but we think you'll find them helpful in the long run.
