Welcome to my digital portfolio page. I started out as a photographer who then started adding digital creations such as wedding and memorial slide shows. This branched into using digital backgrounds and props to create unique works of art with the photos I have taken. A ten year hiatus due to family health issues left my portfolio page dormant.
Over that time, I have taken a lot of nature photography photos I need to upload and expanded on my skill set. I still use my digital art skills to take existing photos, backgrounds, props, artwork, stock images, etc and turn them into unique pieces of artwork. I just now do this for the comic book industry. I also have expanded my video editing skills to creating commercials for movies, demo reels for actors, and promo videos for crowdfunding campaigns.
Programs I use in creating my work are Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Movie Maker; Capcut; Adobe Premier, photoshop, and lightroom; Canva; Photopea; and many others. Each program has it's own unique strengths and weaknesses, along with a different set of special effects. What program I use depends on what stage of the creative process I am in, the type of project I am working on, and the look I am going for.
