Jahmyr Gibbs is a stud RB for the Detroit Lions 🏈 Team. Good running & passing game on Offense. TD run in the 4th Quarter. Got a 24-17 lead in the 4th Quarter lead over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Ford Field in Detroit. End the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 5-game streak not allowed a TD run. Tampa Bay Buccaneers allowed 2 TD runs in the NFC Divisional Playoff Game. Played 2 years for the Georgia Tech Yellowjackets & one year with the Alabama Crimson Tide. Finish the deal up. Credit GM Brad Holmes on this selection & Head Coach Dan Campbell trusting Jahmyr Gibbs abilities at the RB position on Offense. More work to do out there anyways.

On this date 39 years ago, Vernors announced that it was closing the plant and company headquarters and moving to the suburbs. The date was Jan. 19, 1985.

Vernors had moved to the site on Woodward Avenue and Forest from downtown in 1954. For decades, Detroiters would watch the bottling plant pump out Detroit's "deliciously different" ginger ale from the large windows. The Vernors family sold the sodamaker to corporate interests in 1966, and it has changed hands several times since.

The plant, which had sat abandoned for two years was demolished starting in November 1987. Wayne State University bought the site in 1989 for parking. The Studio One Apartments were built on the site, opening in 2009.

Sherrone Moore deserves to be the Head Coach for the Michigan Wolverines 🏈 Team in 2024-present years. Did a good job as Interim Head Coach in 4 games he was signed to do out there anyways. Beat the Penn State Nittany Lions on the road in Happy Valley on November 11th, 2023 24-15. Ohio State Buckeyes on November 25th, 2023 30-24 at The Big House in Ann Arbor. 2 of the best opponents they beat out there in the B1G Conference 🏈 Conference. Good resume to look at what he did out there. Players like what he brings to the table. Losing 20 players to the 2024 NFL Draft in April. Lots of good returning players off of the College 🏈 Playoff National Championship 🏆 Title as well too. Good recruiting class coming in too in 2024. Look at that one closely. Knows the culture & the system. 37 years old from Kansas. Ready to be the Head Coach for the Maize & Blue. Good mindset of what he brings to the table. Bring in good ideas as well too......

Brad Holmes is one of the best NFL GM's. Him & Chris Spielman have a good young talented team for the Detroit Lions 🏈 Team right now. NFL Draft Picks have been unbelievable in the last 3 years. Seeing the development with a them already now in progress. 6-2 on the campaign. Bye week right now. Dan Campbell is a good NFL Head Coach for this organization......

Remembering Bobby Womack (Singer/Songwriter) On His Death Today .

Remembering American soul singer, songwriter, musician, and record produce Robert Dwayne Womack on his death (June 27, 2014). Starting in the early 1950s as the lead singer of his family musical group the Valentinos and as Sam Cooke's backing guitarist, Womack's career spanned more than 60 years and multiple styles, including R&B, soul, rock and roll, doo-wop, and gospel. Womack died at the age of 70 on June 27, 2014.
