**I Will Not Hide My Grief**

I will not hide my grief,
As I did not hide my love.
For both are carved in truth,
And watched by stars above.

The tears that trace my cheek
Are born of moments past,
Where laughter lit the skies,
And love was built to last.

I’ll not pretend to smile
While sorrow floods my soul.
For pain is but the shadow
Of a heart that once was whole.

I sang of love with courage,
I held it with both hands.
And now, though grief has found me,
It too, I’ll bravely stand.

For love and loss are woven,
A tapestry combined.
And though the threads are broken,
The beauty still reminds.

I will not hide my grief,
For it bears your name, my dear.
A badge of love eternal,
Though you are no longer near.

Let others see the ache,
The love that shaped my days.
For grief is but love’s echo,
And love, my life’s refrain.

I just
sit and
remember
you

The way you laughed,
lighting up the room
with your joy

Your smile always
so warm and genuine ,
bringing comfort and
happiness to everyone
around you

It feels like yesterday
that we shared those
precious moments , and
yet time has marched on ,
leaving only memories in its path

I find myself reflecting
on the moments we shared ,
the laughter that brightened
our days, and the warmth
in your presence

Each memory brings a mix
of sadness and gratitude ~
sadness for your absence ,
but gratitude for having had
you in my life

I hold onto the love you
left behind, as I navigate
this world without you

It’s as if you’re still here ,
lingering in the air around me

You are never truly gone,
but always a part of who I am
