The SSPHS Packer Wrestling Team is doing the work this season! The Boys Team is currently ranked top 20 in class AA and the Girls Team is ranked #4 in the state!

The team will be hosting the Veldman Invite this coming Saturday, 1/28/23 at SSPHS. Many ALUMNI who visit this page know that this event is a top notch tournament that pays tribute to the late, GREAT Pete Veldman!

This tournament has been a smooth running event for our wrestlers mainly due to the volunteers who help run tables, scoring and timing matches.

We have some spots open to help out if anyone would like to join us this Saturday and have a front row seat for some great wrestling!

28 YEARS AGO TODAY. South St. Paul and Holy Angels played the first official high school girl’s hockey game in Minnesota history.

Kelly Kegley made history when she scored the game's first goal. Kelly is pictured with South St. Paul coach Dave Palmquist and Holy Angels coach Lynn Olson.

The Packers get the win in the 3AA Quarterfinals tonight against Two Rivers. Despite the cold and gusty wind, the girls played with conviction and got the job done. Way to go Packers! Keep it going into the semi-finals (Monday at home)!
