Every year we produce the video honoring the Muskie Access to Justice Award Winner for Pine Tree Legal. This year's winner is Harold Pachios, Esq. Lucas Cuellar, recent graduate of the CUNY Law School and former Catama employee, conducted many of the interviews. This year's Coffin Fellow at Pine Tree tells an amazing story about a client ordeal that illustrates the need for access to justice for all.
Carlos Cuellar and Joel Desmond travelled to the Dominican Republic last July to film the great work of Partners for Rural Health in the Dominican Republic. Nursing students, doctors and volunteers go twice a year to deliver consistent care to rural villages (and I mean rural) in the mountains in the northern part of the DR.
We filmed for 5 days and returned with hours of great footage. Here is the short version of the edited video that they will be using for fundraising and recruiting.
