With the development of the Ericson Photography Competition and Scholarship Program in 2022, students at PCC, as well as graduating seniors from the 14 high schools in the Pasadena Area Community College District, will have the opportunity to showcase their work and receive awards to support their artistic and educational goals.

In April, PCC student Emi Ramos won 1st place in the Advanced Best in Show category at the Ericson Photography Competition and Scholarship Awards.

In April, the PCC Foundation and the William G. Ericson Foundation partnered for the inaugural William G. Ericson Photography Competition and Scholarship Awards. A total of 108 applicants collectively submitted more than 650 photos and 48 students were selected as finalists. 📸

For his photo Asher V, Cole Frank received the award for the Advanced Category: People.

Join us at the University Club on Thursday, August 4, 7 pm, as we delve into the history of Dodger Stadium. Mark Langill, LAD Team Historian and Publications Editor, will share the story of how the now-iconic stadium became home to the Los Angeles Dodgers 60 years ago, and discuss some of the many very special events - both sports and non-sports related - that have turned the spotlight on the 56,000-seat venue.
