Empty the Shelters is back!
We’re joining Cathy Bissell, BISSELL Pet Foundation for the national adoption event, from October 6-11, 2024. During each nationwide event, BISSELL Pet Foundation sponsors reduced adoption fees to make adoption affordable for prospective pet owners. Animal Services’ adoption fees will be waived for pets 4 months and older. Adopters will still be responsible for a $30 license fee for dogs. The adoption fee for puppies is $85 and for kittens is $35. Visit the Pet Adoption and Protection Center today to find your new best friend!
All pet adoptions include the first set of age-appropriate vaccines, microchip, deworming, and spay/neuter surgery. Adoption hours at the Pet Adoption and Protection Center are Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Adoption Hours at the Medley shelter are Saturday and Sunday 1-4 p.m.
The nation’s largest funded adoption event, Empty the Shelters includes more than 390 or in 44 states and has helped nearly 283,000 pets find loving homes.
