Chick-fil-A of South Jordan ran a fundraiser for the Hansen family last night.

South Jordan residents and CFA raised over $5,000 for this family to start back on their recovery. Thanks to those who came (at one point over 200 cars were in the drive-through and many were in line inside)

We salute all who came to support this family in need.

Yesterday we celebrated the new restaurant opening in South Jordan. Zulu Grille brings African flavor to South Jordan and the whole Salt Lake county. You’ve got to try their wonderful chicken dishes with the African flavor that you’re going to fall in love with.
Zulu Grille also donates a mean to those that would go hungry in South Africa for every mean purchases here.

While we thought the South Jordan Chamber would be closing, the board of directors has made the decision to keep the Chamber open. We have heard from many businesses in our city over the past few weeks who do not want to see the Chamber cease functioning.
In response to this support, like many South Jordan businesses we have decided that sometimes you need to pivot. So, the South Jordan Chamber will be reimagined to help all businesses from in home to large corporations and all businesses in between.
Over the next few weeks we will be sharing what will make the South Jordan Chamber of Commerce unique, but I thought I would give everyone a few now.
* Networking and Mastermind groups to help you grow
* Weekly marketing training
* Connecting with and giving back to our community
* Meeting the movers and shakers of South Jordan and surrounding communities
I would like to introduce the new executive committee that will work alongside the board of directors to lead the Chamber in its new mission:

* Vice Chair- Laurie Snarr
* Secretary- Pam Barnett
* Treasurer- Tiana Beck
* Marketing Chair- Tony Passey
I am very excited to announce that Boyd Petersen will be leading the day-to-day operations as the new part-time president.

I want to thank our members for their support over the years. Though I won’t be with the Chamber moving forward, I am excited to watch the Chamber take this new direction and continue to support our South Jordan businesses.

My seven years on the board of directors and the last three years as the President/CEO have been the best 10 years in my career. I have made so many friends in this journey and won’t forget all of the experiences I have been blessed to have. The South Jordan Chamber has made me a better person and a better leader.

We've responded to multiple issues in the area of The District. These include Orbeez gun fights, random citizens being shot by Orbeez, kids riding electric scooters erratically through the parking lot, and much more. Some of these incidents are dispatched as priority 1 emergencies as they look like a fight or robbery.
If you have kids who frequent this area, please talk to them about the dangers with this type of behavior.
We will be increasing our patrols in this area to hopefully reduce the number of these incidents.
