Good morning!
We are approximately 35 days until national convention housing cut-off, June 10, for the July 27-August 1, 2024, convention in Louisville, KY

We have had an overwhelming response for housing reservations for the National Convention. Due to this, some of the hotels are sold out on select nights. At the end of day on Monday, May 13, all remaining rooms at each hotel will be placed into one common block of rooms, known as “general sale”, and each state block will no longer be earmarked for a specific state. As a result, we encourage individuals to complete the online housing reservation form (www.vfw.org/convention) or email the housing reservation form. The reservation will be booked in any available room/hotel that remains available. Please note that may not be your assigned hotel/room block.

NOTE: Anyone currently on a wait list will be contacted to fulfill their room requests before new reservations are processed.

Please remember, room type requests will be honored when possible, however, it will be dependent on the availability of each room type in each hotel. Double bedded rooms may be very limited in remaining availability.

VFW National is under contract with the current VFW hotels. It is our goal to utilize all rooms contracted in each of those hotels first to avoid any penalties for not filling the contracted blocks.

In the event a hotel or hotels sell out completely, we will make every attempt, based on availability, to secure additional rooms at that hotel or to secure overflow rooms at other nearby hotels.

We encourage your attendees to make their reservations now for the National Convention. We cannot guarantee there will be availability after the housing deadline of June 10 as the rooms are booking quickly and are first come, first served.
