Every once in a while, someone comes into your life that truly brightens everything they touch. Connie is that person for us. We call her “Crazy Connie”. We’re all a bit crazy in our own way but she is a very special kind of crazy! She shares in our triumphs and encourages us during the rough patches. She is our favorite cheerleader! We decided to honor our favorite coffee drinker with her own namesake. We love you Connie! We are very blessed to have you in our lives!

We are all too familiar with the devastating effects of California’s wildfires. For many of us, the fight is personal and given the capacity and opportunity, we would do what we can to make a difference. To Christopher and Michael Mariani, having been personally affected by California wildfires, and witnessing first hand the effectiveness of the aerial fire fighting fleet, the desire to be a part of the solution, developed into a personal mission.

The Mariani Brothers felt compelled to purchase an aircraft to be used to assist in fighting these fires.

“We are excited to have the opportunity to work with IMH and very much value and respect their experience in such a complex industry.” - Michael Mariani .

IMH leased the aircraft September 1, 2021 and added it to our CalFire CWN fleet as well as our Oregon Dept of Forestry CWN fleet shortly thereafter. This aircraft will also be available for other Intermountain Helicopters construction and power line projects during the off-season.

Intermountain Helicopters, Inc. is proud to be partnered with Mariani Brothers Air Support in this personal mission of theirs.

After months of hard work by Travis and Krissy Harrold, our new pod was delivered to Oroville this week! More room and a few upgrade gives the crew a more comfortable work environment, as they continue to work on the Dixie Fire with CalFire!

We did it!!! Can’t believe its been a year already! We’ve experienced some growing pains, learned a lot and have had a very successful first go! Thank you to all of you who’ve supported us through this first year. Keep an eye on us for great things to come because it can only get better from here! Sadly today was the Chief Chick’s last day at Erickson Air-Crane.
Intermountain would like to recognize Bren for all she has done for the SkyCrane world. Many of us owe much of our success to her...her unwavering support of everyone in the crane world will be remembered forever.
The Big Orange of days past will never be again, and many of us are saddened by this latest development, as it signals the end of an era to say the least.
We tip our hats to you Bren....We ALL love you Chief Chick, and will forever hold you close in our hearts.
