Opening Reception of "Celebrating 70 Years of Puppetry" Puppet Exhibit Tomorrow. Sat 13th, 5-7 pm at Sonoma Community Center. Puppets, puppeteers, refreshments, Anniversary cake, Make a Puppet. All are welcome!

The San Francisco Bay Area Puppeteers Guild is presenting an exhibit at the Sonoma Community Center in light of the upcoming Northern California Puppetry Festival Aug. 2 and 3. “Celebrating 70 Years of Puppetry” is running July 13 up until the festival in Gallery 212 at the Community Center.

Puppet enthusiasts are welcome to the SFBA Puppetry Guild Holiday party this Sat., Feb 17th!

WANTED: ONE DOZEN PUPPETEERS: On Saturday, February 17 in Vallejo, California, SFBAPG will make guild history with the first SFBAPG Puppetathlon. Guild members have spent hundreds of hours constructing a set of superbly agile tabletop puppet athletes who will compete on the 17th for top honors in a grueling and hilarious
”American Ninja Warrior” type competition. The course is set, the puppets are trained and ready. All that is needed are the puppeteers (that’s you!) No experience needed, just a love of fun puppetry. We will meet right before the holiday party for you to meet your puppets and bond (prep with a short tabletop puppet workshop.) Sign up today and join us as we make history together!

This is a music video Images in Motion, https://www.imagesmedia.com produced in collaboration with Doug & Anne Zesiger of Stinky Tales www.stinkytales.com. If you like it, please share. We'd love to get it out there and seen!
The goal was to work with a zero budget, using what we had for puppets, sets, etc. Anne did a beautiful musical adaption of this classic lullaby. Bill William Ferguson was Director, as well as lighting and set design, Kieron Robbins was camera and editor. Doug & I puppeteered. Stinky Tales' puppets were designed by Kamela Portuges and built by Mary Nagler. Other people kindly volunteered. It was fun to see it all come together!
