Then I will talk to Turiya Gross, an amazing ceramics artist who is visiting the Sonoma Community Center to teach an 8-week class. Turiya Gross is a ceramic artist based out of Taos, New Mexico. Her work is inspired by the ceramics she was exposed to in Mexico, where she was born and raised, and by her experience living at a craft community in Upstate New York.

It's going to be a great show this morning! I know I feel that way every week, but I really love today's lineup! First, Academy Award Winning Director (and the director behind ABBA's music videos!), Lasse Hallstrom will talk about his most recent film, Juno Films' "Hilma." Beautiful, wonderful, tragic, inspiring. It is playing this weekend at the Smith Rafael Film Cent if you missed it at Sonoma International Film Festival.

After that, we will talk with local author Steven Meloan about his new collection of stories, St James Infirmary, releasing any day now (he'll fill us in!)

And finally, I welcome back iconic photographer Judy Dater who will remind us of her current show at Sonoma Valley Museum of Art and the new exhibit at Di Rosa Center for Contemporary Art featuring women photographers. We'll dig into the history of her career.
