Awesome! Proud to have been a part of this!

Man, I can’t believe I’m writing this but today I get to announce that I’m a finalist at the world renowned Grassy Hill New Folk Competition and that I get to play at the !!! I entered a song titled ‘A Golden Smile’ which is an unreleased track off of the upcoming ‘High Cold Wind’ Ep. I found out about it a few days ago and I’ve been in disbelief ever since. Some of my favorite writers have been past finalist and winners in the past such as Steve Earle, Nancy Griffith, Robert Earl Keen, Lyle Lovett, James McMurtry, Vince Bell, Adrianne Lenker, and a ton of other fantastic songwriters. I’ll let y’all know more about it when it gets closer, but honestly y’all, thanks so much everyone for listening!
