I remember where I was when the news flash came on the TV that Elvis Presley was dead. He was larger than life to kids my age. My parents were teenagers in the 50’s so they definitely were Elvis fans which made my age group had keenly aware of who Elvis was. 47 years have passed and I still remember the initial feeling.

Just one note: when I was very young I was introduced to a wide range of music. Both sets of grandparents had different tastes in music. My parents were teenagers in the fifties they had their indulgences as has every generation since. Early on I gravitated to music. When you have pain in your life and unhappiness you tend to look inward then you become an introvert to some degree. From there the slope is slippery diving in to whatever encapsulates you from the rest of the ugly world around you. For me it was music. As I become older my talent was cultivated by great music mentors like Clyde Mattocks and Walter Lyerly. I became firmly convinced that music was a different language. It could quiet the soul and place it at ease. It could turn the saddest emotion into peaceful contentment. Sadly enough it also can make way for a soul to leave the earthly vessel in peace. As time has accumulated on my earthly clock I have become firmly convinced that a single note played with the feel, the emotion or the determination can change the world. Not just any note, but the one coming from the deepest crevices of your very existence. One that rings out so intensely it silences the listeners, stops the clock, and brings about a peaceful rest to your weary soul. We need such a note now from the right soul to play it……….Just one Note.
This girl is the hardest working artist I know! If you are anywhere close to her shows you really should go! She is awesome.

BAD JeuJeu Records had a big night in Fort Worth! Donice Morace won Emerging Artist of the year at the Texas Country Music Association awards ceremony in Fort Worth Texas.
