Addisyn hosted about 30 of her friends and classmates at her Halloween Pajama Party last night. A time was had! The kids understood the assignment. They dressed in pajamas, ate, laughed, and really had a great time.

Thanks to all the parents who chauffeured kids, and thanks to for making sure the decorations along with everything else were on point. 😘

Unfortunately I didn’t get any pictures with the kids because we all know 14 year olds aren’t about that life, but it was nice to see that kids still rock with the card game UNO,(one of the only pics I got 😝).

As a Black female dentist, I realized early on that being visible in my profession can inspire future generations of Black and female individuals to pursue careers in dentistry and healthcare. By giving back, I’m serving as a role model and showing that success is attainable for individuals from diverse backgrounds.

I pledge to mentor and support young aspiring minority girls to become dentist. By sharing my knowledge and experiences, I can help guide the next generation of diverse dental professionals.

Simply put, my voice is a powerful tool for influencing positive change in the dental field, and BBeyond Her Smileis just one of the ways I plan to evoke that change.
