Eighteen-year-old Lachlan “LaLa” Turner is a two-time WMX Champion whose meteoric rise has been driven largely by raw talent rather than years of structured training, having only started riding at age 12.

She admitted she once went “from the couch to racing on the weekends,” only beginning full-time training midseason at ClubMX, which helped her improve consistency and reduce crashes.

Despite suffering major injuries—including unknowingly racing the WMX finale with a broken back—Turner pushed through after her father told her to “show ’em who the champion is,” finishing strong to secure the title.

Motivated by increased WMX exposure and fueled by what she calls her “beast mode” when she gets mad, Turner says she’s “just getting started” and now plans to transition into Supercross and SMX Futures, believing that confidence and commitment are the keys to making her dream happen.❤
