Pierre and I are trying out SUPER EASY frozen meals for when the baby comes and this one is 10/10!! I will be stocking up on it.

Bayou Baby Watch is officially underway!

Went to an MFM appointment this morning, got to see baby for the first time in 4 weeks. I am 38w + 2 today and he is measuring 7lbs 11 ounces.

I have an NST monitoring appointment tomorrow at 9am. Since being on bed rest, my blood pressures have been so beautiful! Bc of bed rest, I’m limited in what I can do to try to induce, but I was already dilated as of last Tuesday and I’m hoping he comes soon!

Thank you to everyone who is awaiting his arrival and checking on me. I am very bad at answering texts. Very, very bad.

The tragedy in New Orleans at Canal & Bourbon is devastating.

10 people dead, 2 officers shot and 35 in the hospital after the driver of this white truck intentionally plowed into a crowd at 315am. They later found IED’s that did not detonate.

While most locals I know don’t visit Bourbon Street unless they have family or friends in town, I imagine that Bourbon Street on New Year’s Eve is a bucket list item for many people. I can’t help but think that these people may have traveled to our state, been spending their money to stimulate our economy, and this is how their night ended.

This can happen anywhere, but New Orleans really is a dangerous place. There’s a reason it leads the US in murder rates most years. It’s unfortunate because the city is full of culture and history and has such a special energy about it.

Here is mine! A $19 no-name brand coffee maker that you can use both kcups or grounds in, had it for two years. Works like a charm.

Only one kind of kcup - no need for syrups or additives bc this s**t is delicious just the way it brews!

If you like Cuban coffee, have you tried Cafe Bustelo Cafe Con Leche pods?!?
