I’m a kid in a candy shop right now! Having started my DJ career in the 80’s WGCI 107.5 was my radio station. I would listen to Irene Mojica every night. Her voice, her humor and her knowledge of Chicago and music was iconic for me. I just met her for the first time 40 years later. Yes, I’m star struck. 🤩

So grateful to have great people in your life. Amadea is a one of a kind heart and soul. It’s not surprising the universe brought her to Energy Productions and us to her. Her spirit, motivation and dedication is beyond her years. I’ve owned Energy for almost 4 decades and have had only 3 office mangers during our time. The role is way beyond answering phones and scheduling staff. It requires a high-level skill set of creativity, forward and out of the box thinking, rapid client response and guidance, while leading a full staff of over 50 Dancers, MCs and DJs. She’s obsessed with being meticulous which results in perfection. I trust her more than I trust myself when it comes to making many business decisions. What’s most insane is that we’re celebrating her 20th Birthday on April 8th and her 2nd year Anniversary with Energy. I’m so excited for our future together. With Energy being 40 and her being 20, 🤯 my mind is blown to see where we will continue to grow together! Happy Birthday and Happy Anniversary Amadea, thank you for all you do and what you bring to our clients and staff members. You’re the Rockstar’s Rockstar!

Good news to share...

All roads seem to be heading in the right direction for the reopening of the event industry. Since the beginning of the month, Energy has received a renewed interest in prospective clients inquiring about future dates as far out as 2023. Those of you that have planned a Mitzvah know the process begins 18-24 months out when securing your preferred vendors. Since COVID began, this trend has paused.

Clearly the fallout of COVID has been devastating to Energy as well as the entire world. For one person to have lost their life is one too many. It has been traumatic and catastrophic for so many people and so many families. My prayers go out to everyone that has been affected by the virus.

I also want to thank everyone that has made countless sacrifices to help reduce the spread and save lives. Our continued efforts, along with the vaccination, has drastically been reducing new cases per day in the U.S. Not only is this great news for our overall health, but it's essential for our industry to reopen safely and get back to celebrating life.
