Yesterday, announced she's opening her own digital consultancy after YEARS of doing it for others. www.sageparadigm.com

It's been an interesting dynamic shift at Chez Miller. I shifted to a 9-5 after 20+ years of being my own boss, and now Mish is shifting from the 9-5 to being HER own boss.

It's also been interesting to watch how she's climbed the corporate ladder in the last 20 years. I've watched her go from underling to boss bitch. I've watched her thrive under amazing managers (looking at you ), and wilt under the sh*tty ones like a plant that was deprived of sun and water.

When we did her portraits the other day for the new site, I did a series of serious ones. The more I look at this one...it occurs to me that what she broke out was the patented Lane Family "F**k Around & Find Out" look.

The world isn't ready for what's she's about to unleash on it.

And I couldn't be prouder!

A couple of months ago, I broke a ceramic mug I've had since the late 70's. I was devastated because it had been almost everywhere with me.

Last night, this was dropped off to me. It would seem that , and C have been very busy having this commissioned by a local ceramic artist. More to come on their work.

To say i'm lucky to have such chosen family members is an understatement.

So just ran a package about photography and elections, getting into office and so on.

They showed the typical shots from , , , etc...but do you think they actually interviewed any of them? Was there a single sound bite from ANY photojournalist?

Nope. Not one.

It's akin to doing a story on medicine and not talking to a doctor.
