Can't believe it was 44 years ago. I was 8 years old, and I have a vivid memory of watching the news on my parent's bed and seeing my sister lose her s**t over it. Amazing what stands out in our memories

Sunsets this time of year have such hard color lines vs. the gentle gradients you get in the summer, even without clouds. Not that I'm complaining, just a thought I had after post called tonight's sunset "an art show"

Thought I'd do my TBT a day early. One of my ALL time favorite frames from my time with 's Camp Out For Hunger. The sky caught fire and the sight of all of us running clear across the parking to get this shot HAD to be comical.

Yesterday, announced she's opening her own digital consultancy after YEARS of doing it for others. www.sageparadigm.com

It's been an interesting dynamic shift at Chez Miller. I shifted to a 9-5 after 20+ years of being my own boss, and now Mish is shifting from the 9-5 to being HER own boss.

It's also been interesting to watch how she's climbed the corporate ladder in the last 20 years. I've watched her go from underling to boss bitch. I've watched her thrive under amazing managers (looking at you ), and wilt under the s**tty ones like a plant that was deprived of sun and water.

When we did her portraits the other day for the new site, I did a series of serious ones. The more I look at this one...it occurs to me that what she broke out was the patented Lane Family "F**k Around & Find Out" look.

The world isn't ready for what's she's about to unleash on it.

And I couldn't be prouder!
