Chorus Photography

Chorus Photography Every picture tells a story. Let us tell yours. Our personal philosophy is based upon a genuine appreciation of the subtle nuances of our craft.

Chorus Photography is a digital & film photography studio with offices in Philadelphia & San Francisco that is built upon a classic foundation. We cherish photography as one of the original art forms β€” a medium that can take a moment, suspend it in time, and preserve it forever. We are committed to continuing education and inspired to explore new techniques and industry advancements. This ensures

that our photographers possess not just the talent, but the knowledge and the skills to thoughtfully capture their subjects. Chorus Photography also has a healthy passion for technology and the amazing benefits it brings to both our creativity and your final images. Through the use of digital SLRs, our photographers are empowered with the ability to take an endless number of images. And while we are self-proclaimed technology enthusiasts, we still rely on our core talents as photographers, and not on the capabilities of post-production software, to deliver exceptional photographs. Current client roster includes: The Preston & Steve Show, WMMR, 101.1 MoreFM, The Greater Philadelphia Film Office, The Philly Home Show, The Philly Home & Garden Show, Philabundance, Habitat for Humanity of Montgomery County, and many others. We promote and encourage social sharing through platforms like Facebook to extend the celebration of special occasions with your expanded network.

Top 12 of 2024: Two Gios For The Price Of One
My friend won The .news First Amendment award last March for doing what he does. On vacation on Maui with when the Lahaina fires hit. THIS is what journalism is about. Putting the story before yourself.

Top 12 of 2024: #2: The Big Easy Scrum

"Hey B...the press are gearing up outside to talk to the Chief (Anne Kirkpatrick, New Orleans' Police Superintendent)" after the panel..

Me: "Really?! A scrum?! Here?!"

The 2nd .news crime reporting summit was in New Orleans. While the Chief was here to sit on a panel with New Orleans DA Jason Williams and Louisiana State Police Superintendent, Colonel Robert Hodges...there were questions that our local news affiliate members had for her.

Year End Faves: #12 - The Commish

January saw .news hold their first of two crime reporting summits. The first was in Philadelphia.

The lunchtime Fireside Chat included Cathy Milhoan, Assistant Director, FBI's Office of Public Affairs, Philadelphia DA Larry Krasner, former Philly Police Chief Charles Ramsey and Chuck Wexler, Executive Director, Police Executive Research Forum.

Ramsey's interaction with one of the journalists got a little heated, but the look on Krasner's face was the story here 😏

After taking 4 planes, a 50 mile walk through the tundra and finally hitching a ride with a lovely elfin family headed back home for the holidays. I got to do a little shoot with The Big Man, along with a rare interview.

As the sun set and we walked through a grove of pine trees sipping hot cocoa, he confided a little something to me.

"We just try to bring a little happiness to people who SO DESPERATELY need it. But without the magic of all who believe, we wouldn’t have The Christmas spirit that is needed year-round anymore, and I’m here for it.

Also...if you don’t mind my bluntness, what is it with you on the naughty list every year, kid?"

Can't believe it was 44 years ago. I was 8 years old, and I have a vivid memory of watching the news on my parent's bed and seeing my sister lose her s**t over it. Amazing what stands out in our memories
