Lots of changes over here, but also a lot of the same ole' joy. I'm a married man now, I got Lasik done on my eyes, and this hair keeps growing on my face, but I am still committed to helping others celebrate one party at a time! It's time to vote for the Local Best again too! Shalom!

Origins of this style. Adam Sieff - Peace to your pieces

I got invited back to MC at my Alma maters USF's Got Talent night. I went with 2 very different outfits, but I did 2 things in between those pics at the Jesche Fine Arts Center that you can't see.
1. Keep Going. 2. Keep Growing.

The Left was 2007... I performed one of my first songs with a shirt I designed. On the back of my shirt I wrote 'SieffStyle'. At that time I don't think I could articulate what that meant to me or what I planned to bring the world when I asked them to 'get their hands up'. The art was me, I was in process, I was becoming and finding out who I was designed to be. Someone who changes the energy of a room, or shares light and love wherever I go, distributes joy authentically, and includes and encourages artists along the way. I didnt know SieffStyle would become DJ SieffStyle Entertainment

I had a professor named Jason Folkerts at University of Sioux Falls who gave me one of the most life changing assignments: "list on a notecard what you want to do, be, or become." Anything. Literally any thing.

I wrote 2 things that I really meant, but didn't know where to start. The list was the start.
1. DJ 2. MC.

The assignment was that within 5 people of you is the wisdom you need to do it. Find someone who knows what you need, or they will point you to someone else. My someone was a DJ named DJ Steve Wade who lived across the street. Literally, less than 75 feet from my door. 14 years later my team was voted #1 local best djs 9 years in a row. I also found one of the best MCs named Manny Gutierrez who helped me find my own unique voice & approach. He taught me no one can do it quite like me. No body can do what you are about to do quite like you either.

The picture on the right is tonight, 2021. It was a magical evening to MC. So many amazing people, personalities and talents. I noticed I have become those things I wrote down, they weren't just on a notecard anymore.

I told the young creators the gifts they have will continue to be lifegiving to them and a blessing to those around. The best art does. The best art is. We're made for it. I also told them to keep going and to keep growing. I said it with my chest. I meant it. Who knows where it can go from here.

He was asked to help play music at a middle school dance and saw that the students needed some encouragement to participate.
