We're excited to announce that a Bassment Rock recording artist, Tommy Edwin, was chosen as a South Dakota Arts Council award recipient. Grant funds will be used for travel and attendance at the Folk Alliance International Conference in Montreal in February 2025! Congrats, Tommy!

Heads up. My song “Radio On” drops on November 1st. This song about JFK, the Beatles and a different era is the final song from my album Fade to Memory to be released. It got a really positive reception here at the Wild West Songwriters Festival. 📻

“As a singer you need a voice. And I’m not just talking about singing the right notes but having character
and being able to emote properly. And that’s one thing…I absolutely love [Tommy’s] voice. It’s the same
with Steve Earle, John Prine, Jackson Browne, all those guys. Their songs are great, but the voice is what
really tips it over the edge. And I think [he’s] got that same quality to his baritone the way [he] delivers the
song.”
