BREAKING NEWS!

During the Koryom FC - Bor vs Kator FC - Juba match at the Juba National Stadium, supporters of Koryom FC - Bor came together in an unexpected way. They demanded justice for the horrific Nyoloo Massacre that claimed the lives of many innocent children, women, and men who were cattle keepers from Dinka Bor.
Passionately written signs and chants echoed the stadium, calling for an end to tribalism in South Sudan and saying the cattle were sources of food during the liberation struggle for the Sudan People Liberation Army (SPLA).
The demand for justice was heard loud and clear,
BUT THE QUESTION REMAINS, WILL JUSTICE BE SERVED?

RESPONSE FROM THE GOVERNMENT OF SUDAN!

Statement of the Sudanese people in response to the statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the State of South Sudan

January 16, 2025

Press release

We in Sudan have reviewed the statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the State of South Sudan, which included artificial concern about the conditions of some of its citizens in Wad Madani, deliberately ignoring the overwhelming facts that confirm the involvement of large groups of southerners in the brutal crimes committed by the Rapid Support Militia against the Sudanese people. While we reject this statement in its entirety, we emphasize the following:

1. Partnership of the Southerners in the atrocities
Since the outbreak of the war, the extent of the direct and extensive participation of thousands of mercenaries coming from South Sudan in serious violations against Sudanese civilians has been clear. These armed groups have engaged in killing, r**e and looting operations in which women and children were not spared, but rather extended to include forced displacement, which are violations documented by survivor testimonies and independent human rights reports.

2. Complicity of the Government of South Sudan
It is unacceptable for the Government of South Sudan to pretend to be neutral while its territory has become the main conduit for arms and fighters supplies to the Rapid Support Militia. Its involvement in this conflict is no longer hidden, whether through logistical facilities or by turning a blind eye to the recruitment of its citizens into the ranks of the militia.

3. Attempting to distort the facts
The claim that the South Sudanese nationals in Wad Madani were non-combatants is a blatant misleading, as it has been proven that most of them were part of the defeated militia that practiced theft, looting and destruction and wreaked havoc in the city before it was liberated by the Sudanese Armed Forces.

4. Sudan’s responsibility towards its sovereignty
Sudan has the full right to take the necessary measures to protect its citizens from mercenaries and foreign militias that dared to violate its land and honor. The Sudanese army did not target any innocent civilians, but dealt in accordance with the law with the criminal elements involved in the aggression.

5. The principle of reciprocity
The South Sudanese government's talk about the diplomatic rights of its citizens in Sudan requires it to first stop supporting the militias that are wreaking havoc on our land. Just as it is keen on the safety of its citizens, Sudan is more keen on the rights of its people and will not hesitate to defend its land and sovereignty.

6. A call for truth instead of allegations
We call on the South Sudanese government to stop making false allegations and acknowledge its role in igniting this conflict. We also call on it to take a responsible position, starting with stopping the flow of mercenaries and weapons to the Rapid Support Militia instead of issuing statements trying to cover up the truth of its involvement.
Finally, the Sudanese people are fully aware of who stands with them and who conspires against them, and such statements will not succeed in obscuring the truth. We will not allow any external force to violate Sudan's sovereignty, and the crimes committed against our people will not go unpunished.

Background statement about Kapaat's Church:

Koch community is fulfilling the dream of our Lordship Bishop Nathaniel by constructing Bishop compound and Kapaat Cathedral, the mother church of all they churches in Juor Koch area.

The Life of our Lordship Bishop Nathaniel Garang and his blessing to Kapaat.

Kapaat church was set up by Koch youth who were students in 1978. It was their alter as per the new religion by then it didn't grow faster because other deities were so active than Christ.

Nathaniel Garang Anyieth Jangdit Bior Deng-Ajhok hails Deer community of Makuach Payam where he started his biblical teachings in earlier 90th till he was promoted to the position of Assistant Bishop of Rumbek after Malou Ajhok in 1983 they were running Southern Christianity together but Malou was the senior.
After the conflict was intense and severe between Southerners and Northerners in 1984. Bor intellectuals by then sneaked him out to the village of Ajak-Noi his home village north-east of Zion "Pakaw" East of Wer-Ngueny.

In February 1985, when youths "rothii" from Koch heard that Bishop Garangdit is in Ajak-Noi village of Wer-Kok Boma, they decided to visit him. They got him under the granary with his wife Atongdit. Among the youths who went to see him were

√ Moses Ateny Makol
√ John Akuei Deng
√ John Achiek Alier R.I.P
√ Anai Aluong Khang R.I.P
√ Ayuen Makuei Apier
√ Machar Kuol Nyok (Jong-tooch)

The visit to Bishop resulted in the set up of Nathaniel Compound in Kapaat since Mading-Bor isn't safe for him and Kapaat is the first church established. They already set up three huts, one for his kids and their aunt, one for his mother in Law Anyiethdit, one house for Nathaniel, and the granary where they will keep his grains

There were only 4 churches from Cuei Keer to Cueei Thon (village churches) of which one was Kapaat Church and among they others was Kongor church.

On 16th April 1986, he was asked to be residing in Kongor Church and so he left Koch.

In Twic East he started his mission of burning deities and shrines but the indigenous were not happy with his duties. They rallied for the leave of Garangdid before local rulers.

1987 It was decided that Garang would leave Pan-Bor to abroad "Nhial" because his issue of burning deities for an unknown God should be abolished. he was escorted as he was leaving Kongor toward Wer-Nyool avenue and he met Kuol Manyang on his way coming the time Kuol replaced Arok Thon.

Kuol raised questions on why Garang is being subjected to leave but the answer was that they don't want him because he's burning the deities with wrong teaching. Kuol said if he was wrong then, let the deity 'Jok' kill him and let the Bishop return home, he ordered.

In March 1987, he returned to Koch and kept his compound clean with a saying that whenever he returns he'll take a rest here.

After they came to Kapaat Atongdit the wife to Nathaniel told the bishop," dad, we are now back home, these are my children and they're your sons." she referred to rothii ke Kuoi as her children.

She continued by saying, you can now preach anywhere and come back home without fear."

During his teaching, he roamed with Achiek Deng-Agolwut Arou Deng Khang, Elizabeth Bol Kudum from Adumwuor, and Elijah Mabior Lual from Alian of Jalle Payam. All was well then.

In 1990, he went to England where he met church leaders in the UK and returned in the same year.

Unfortunately, the 1991 war erupted when he was in the UK, with the situation Garangdid bore there was no means of communication he can hear whether his family is hidden or wrapped up by Nuer bandits.

Youth from Koch and other consecrates came up with the idea of Nathaniel's family concealment. The youths were..

√ John Akuei Deng
√ Akim Thiem
√ Mayol Pur from pathuyith
√ Chuti Achiek
√Angau Ajak Makuei Deng-alish

These gentlemen kept Nathaniel Kids in the bush for 14 days in Wer-Aguon South East of Wut Cuei Koch western part of Kapat Boma's headquarters. By the grace of God, Nuer didn't find his family till he arrived

They dug a large hole where they cook for kids mostly at 4 am. This hole was used to hide fire flame so that the enemy won't intercept their location.

On 12 December 1991, Nathaniel landed in Nairobi but wasn't comfortable because he had no idea where his family was. He tried to inquire with his colleagues but they also had no idea similarly.

He locked himself inside the room for three days asking God for what is the seed of a human being if his family is really no more.

The team of clergy came from Kenya to take the family of Nathaniel Garangdid but Atongdit refused until they got back to let Garangdid come.

Fortunately, Garangdid arrived in Kapat on 18th December 1991 and got the five gentlemen with his family. He was very happy, thanking both God and gentlemen.

He asked them to get inside the temple for prayers.

His Prayers

Dear Jehovah, God of Heaven and Earth, the seed of human beings is a child, I thank you for going into the heart of these gentlemen to keep my children from the enemy. I didn't go abroad for my own but for the whole of society, I have seen you've given me this task. Dear Living God, keep Kapaat safe as it kept my family safe, it will be where I may hide and keep it away from any design destruction against it unless it's a disaster brought by you to the whole of Pan-Bor. Take care of these gentlemen as they'll be living here to take care of your temple. I ask these in the name of the father, the son, and the holy spirit Amen🙏

After the prayers, he left with his family for Kenya but his mother-in-law Anyiethdit has been living in Kapaat until 2012.

In 2017 and 2018 he got the vision that the church of Kapaat should be built and he'll open it as he still speaking and been taken into consideration, another dream was given to Ting Ayol Maluk Chiengkou about the building of Kapat Church and Koch Community made a conference, and it was resolved that The Church will be built together with Garangdid Church Compound and the work was divided into two (Khang-beny Mayol)

Koch in the diaspora will build the Church and Koch in Africa will build the Bishop compound.

We have secured 87 percent of the funds to fulfill our Lordship Babada Bishop Nathaniel Garang Anyieth Jangdit will and vision to build Kapaat Cathedral in Borland, Jonglei state in South Sudan. We are pushing really hard with time and resources mobilization but this year will be completion year of our divine projects.
In the next 3 to 4 months 90 percent of construction will be completed.

To our charitably donors and our community members Globally & back home, please stay tune in the next one week or two for more details updates as the real work is going to commenced momentarily.

Perhaps the hardest decision any leader has to make is to identify a suitable successor. Whether it's getting promoted, changing companies or even retiring, great leaders never stop caring about their followers.

Right now, Lual Mawut will be comfortable sitting back knowing that Pan Bor is in the good hands of Akol Agok Magot should he retire in a few years to come. Moving Bor community forward will be fully guided with certainty by Akol Agok and they rest of our wrestlers.

Last night victory of Akol Agok over Majok Siko has opened the way from Gongic Achiek to finally endorsed Akol Agok and handed his wrestling attributes as a sign of saying now I'm honorably retiring with a great pride my young brother.

Choosing the right successor has never been an easy process for any leader and it is something that is not considered lightly by a successful leader.

Congratulations coach Gongic Achiek Nai and kudos to Akol Agok and Team Bor for their unwavering commitment to represent us national in wrestling Arena with unshakable pride and honor.

To Akol Agok with the God of the land and the spirit of our ancestors, we have blessed you off to Bor community with everything that we have.

He asked them to get inside the temple for prayer.

His Prayer:

"Dear Jehovah, God of Heaven and Earth, the seed of human beings is a child, I thank you for going into the heart of these gentlemen to keep my children from the enemy. I ask these in the name of the father, the son, and the holy spirit Amen"

After the prayer, he left with his family for Kenya but his mother-in-law Anyiethdit has been living in Kapaat until 2012.

In 2017 and 2018 he got the vision that the church of Kapaat should be built and he'll open as he still speaking and been taken into consideration, another dream was given to Ting Ayol Maluk Chiengkou about the building of Kapat Church and Koch Community made a conference, and it was resolved that The Church will be built together with Garangdid Church Compound and the work was divided into two.

Koch in the diaspora will build the Church and Koch in Africa will build the Bishop compound.
