Welcome to Palmetto Showcase - An Upstate SC based musician and entertainer network. https://PalmettoShowcase.com Patrons and bands can rank these venues.

Palmetto Showcase combines the features of many musician and entertainment sites into one. There will be categories for every type of entertainer and genre. Listings will be available for free which show the basic information, and higher profile listings will be available for our sponsored acts. Fans and venues will be able to rank and comment on acts. A venue searching for an act will need only p

ut in their criteria, such as "a band that plays country music, has no more than 4 members, has their own PA and will play for 1000 dollars or less". The sponsored acts (Showcased) will appear at the top, then the other listings will appear below, in order of relevance. Venues can be listed, with full descriptions of their facility, the type of music they feature, their calendars and more. Again, sponsored/showcased venues will appear in searches at the top. There will be a section for musicians searching for musicians. A public calendar will be available showing entertainment for each night of the week. What makes Palmetto Showcase different is that it is focused on a particular geographic area... An area centered around the Upstate of South Carolina, extending to within a few hours away. Are you a new group with no promotional materials? For a reasonable fee, we will have a package for you, ranging from a basic professional photo and 8x10 prints to full studio services and physical CDs and printed promo packs. Need a booking agent? While the site will serve as a great resource for people and venues to find and hire you, we will also offer booking services. Need promotional items? T-Shirts, stickers, buttons, banners and the like? We've got that covered to. Stay tuned, it's going to get fun! If you are interested in helping Palmetto Showcase grow, we want to talk to you! Photographers, videographers, copy writers, audio engineers, and others who have services to offer the community are needed. We also need web help and someone skilled in coding apps for Android/iThings and/or maybe HTML5.

Today, we renewed/updated our SSL (security certificate) until 2025.

This must be done yearly.

Today I replaced a SonicWALL TZ370 firewall appliance with the Ubiquiti Unifi UDM-SE and enabled some geo blocking and other features.

Next week, I will install a new 10G card in the main server and connect it to to the switches direct. It won't provide faster throughput, but will help tidy up things a bit.
