Summit School District 11/4/24 Update at 5:18am: 2 Hour Delay

Due to heavy snowfall overnight and a winter storm warning in effect until 11:00 am, all Summit Schools will operate on a two-hour delay today.

This decision accounts for staff and family travel challenges from the long weekend and difficult road conditions, especially as many of our staff commute from outside Summit County.

Please note:

Half-day preschool classes are canceled.
Buses will run routes two hours later than usual.

Heads up! Be fire aware.

Summit Fire & EMS is responding to a wildfire above the Meadow Creek trailhead off Interstate 70 near Frisco. Please do not call 9-1-1 for this. More information as it becomes available.

Reminder: Our fire danger is VERY HIGH, and there are Stage 1 fire restrictions in place prohibiting all open fires outside of permanent fire rings in designated campgrounds and for permitted backyard campfires with ember screens on them.
