The city of Woodinville state of the city address.

The city contacted me asking me If I had a creative way of putting together a video that would replace their standard death by power point presentation. So with the schedule of 3 weeks before the event I came up with this!

Last month I had the pleasure of interviewing Kim and Britney from A Mission for Michael and was able to hear a little about their journey into the realm of mental health and substance abuse and on the program itself which is here in Kitsap.

Today’s shoot in Woodinville. Starting this project off with a council member interview and some drone footage of the city.

I absolutely love the projects I’ve been getting lately as they are definitely challenging me to my full potential and allow for massive amounts of growth and networking outside of Kitsap County. Great way to come back after a month off.

This summer was hard I’m not going to lie. So much going on between getting all of these projects and weddings completed, continuing with my training, over coming some mental road blocks and trying to make time for myself.

But I will say working with some amazing people on some of my less then stellar days always reminded me of why I love my job. Thank you to for taking some bts shots, if you have you have ever worked with me you know at some point or another I will have to show you some of the footage as I get so excited over it.

Color grading log footage is my favorite part of the entire process. People always ask why does your camera have such a bad image out of camera, although my camera does have a baked in color look if I wanted to use it, but I choose not to, it does not allow for the flexibility in post to create my own image that a log profile gives. Kind of like a blank canvas where I get to choose the final image. Vs filming where the camera chooses the color and overall look of the image. This process can be lengthy (2-3 hours)to determine the overall look I want the project to look like.

This is absolutely mind blowing how far technology has come especially for the lower budget creators! 3d tracking and AI masking is insane!

Weddings were never on my list of things to film when I started my career. But this summer has changed my mind. I had a blast at every single one and never felt like I was incapable of delivering something amazing. As I have grown into my style of filming I have quickly realized I love editorial styled films. This may not be your cup of tea as everyone is different in their own way. Looking forward to the filming the couples I have already booked and if your looking or know some who is looking for wedding videographer send them my way!

Had the pleasure of working with Acaudioweddings this last month and not only was he an amazing DJ but his knowledge of the industry and best practices was so hopefully to me as I have always struggled with the audio at weddings.
