Stage set for Tank & the Bangas at the Library of Congress Coolidge Auditorium. A significant part of the day was spent ensuring that the band's high energy performance didn't overpower the room and the stage sound for the audience and the multitrack recording. Lots of portable baffles, careful drum tuning and stage monitor adjustments made for a well received show. Ten mixes of in-ear monitors really paid off.

This year at the Congressional Black Caucus after a long day of Town Hall sessions the stage at the DC Convention Center ballroom was given over to the NOLA Resistance band from New Orleans. The Democratic debates provided a video back drop. All over seen by FOH engineer Keith Stephens.

Early onset politics season continues. ESP is supporting a Bernie Sanders event at GWU today. Part of the audience was on the thrust stage. To ensure good camera shots we installed small speakers under the chairs on the stage. This made for a clean webcast and news crew shots.
