I've taught in the Longmont area for over 20 years. I work with all ages, including adult students. During the day, I teach with Boulder Valley Schools. I received my degree at the University of Northern Colorado. I currently teach at two studio locations in Longmont. My studio meets a couple of times a month for Fiddle Club. We have a junior string quartet made up of students from my studio. We'l
l occasionally perform around Longmont. I have had many students be accepted at Western States and All State Orchestra. Some have moved on to study music at the university level. I strongly believe that music makes us better people and work with students that have special needs. I work with students that regret giving up their string instrument after high school. It's never too late to do something you love. I perform with Tilia Americana, a local band from the Longmont area. We play original music written by Andy Koppel and Jeannie Emme. We play blues styles, blue grass, folk with a gypsy flair. Our album will be released later this year. I've completed a few other recording projects as well.
