Tomorrow is the third annual Women's March. However, this year, the organizers of the Women's March have been accused of making anti-Semitic comments and refusing to apologize. Antisemitism in general is on the rise in America as of 2018, according to PEW research. Read more in a report published last semester.

Colin Kaepernick has consistently been in the news in 2018. Originally, he was known for being a quarterback for the San Francisco 49ers. Then, he gained attention nationwide for starting the kneeling protests in the NFL. Nike capitalized on the media attention and traction Kaepernick received and featured him in their wildly successful ad campaign that featured the former pro-football player.
