I find after experiencing so much loss in my life, but always reminding myself of how blessed I am is the foundation I choose to build on. Understanding each one of my blessings and showing gratitude that’s what I want to fill my world with.
Life has changed drastically for us recently. Especially with our caring for aging parents.
Our life of full time travel is not to be. Yet we have experienced so much of the world it’s hard to feel regret. We have travelled all over the states as well as the world and now we have come into a different season.

The family of Antonio W Figueroa sadly announce the passing of their dearly beloved son, grandson, and great-grandson. Antonio was born to his loving mother and family on December 10, 2000, in Palm Springs, California. Antonio was called home to our Lord’s Kingdom on March 26, 2024. Antonio was the sweetest little bundle of joy who captivated the heart of all those around him. He grew into a very handsome, intelligent, and loving young man. Antonio loved a good adventure and enjoyed meeting new people. His smile could light up a room and his charm won over the hearts of many. He loved spending time with his family and loved his five younger sisters most of all. Antonio grew up in Blythe, Ca, Cortez, Co and spent some of his teen years in Palm Desert he is part of a big and very close-knit family. He grew up surrounded by his many cousins and loved spending time with them, having fun and making lots of memories. Those memories will be cherished now even more. Antonio will be missed dearly by all of his family and loved ones.
Services will be held in Blythe, California on Monday, April 8th. The remembrance will begin at 6 PM followed by the Rosary at 7PM at Frye Chapel and the Funeral Mass with on the 9th at 10:00 AM at St Joan of Arc Catholic Church. A small celebration of life will follow the Funeral Mass at the St Joan of Arc Catholic Church

My dad has dementia Alzheimer’s and now bladder cancer and I can’t tell you how much it means that my brother Robert comes down to stay with mom and dad and help out .
Lil Paul and my daughter-in-law Aliesha we thank you for checking in on your granny and for us.
We have doctor’s appointments nonstop for our elders. We take care of four of them to the best of our abilities.
So we appreciate when our family steps up and helps us and allows us to get away together for much needed vacation. We are blessed and grateful with a beautiful supporting family. Now we’re gonna continue our party!
We have been blessed these last several years to spend quite a lot of time with our parents. We were also grateful when they came to live with us and they have brought us many moments of joy.
When we confirmed what we expected that dad had dementia and Alzheimer’s I can’t say we were not afraid of what the future held. With God we learned to trust and he has helped us on this journey.
My parents have such a full life of prayer and I feel that lifts Paul and I as we journey with them. We definitely need it as we have now been presented with another health challenge for dad.
We learned a while ago that life is beautiful even though it has many heart aches.
Through it all we remain in joyful hope that our journey continues to bring us blessings as we care for our aging parents.
