Shreveport porch pirate caught after video goes viral on social media
It happens daily, and people are fed up with stolen packages right off their front steps.
Residents in Highland and South Highlands were victims of what many people call porch pirates. These are thieves who take packages they know are not theirs.
Emily Jones, KTAL Digital Content Producer, started just to let it go, but she decided to warn her neighbors and contact the police.

Catholic Charities of North Louisiana (CCNLA) is gearing up for an exciting week of community engagement, kicking off with their Highland Parade Lunch Stop on Sunday March 2nd and an Open House event on Tuesday, March 4th.
During the Highland neighborhood Mardi Gras parade, CCNLA will serve hot dogs, chili, and drinks at Brother’s Hair Salon (Kings Hwy & Centenary Blvd) starting at 11 a.m. Food will be available for a donation, and all proceeds will benefit the organization’s vital community programs.
