Monday January 18th is Martin Luther King Jr. Day, so the campus will be closed. (This means that there will in fact NOT be any club meetings on that day - excuse one of the previous posts, whoops). Hopefully, everyone can take this time to buy their textbooks, get ahead of their class, or relax. Either way, make the best of your time!

A number of things will be happening next week. Monday through Friday, students will learn about cool digital resources that can make their college experience smoother, for instance. When in doubt, go to the UC to see if there is anything going on. (Hint: there normally is.)

It's nearing lunch time, so you might want to apply for Pilot Dining Dollars. You can do this before January 22. The following link goes into more detail, but in summary: you can use financial aid to pay for your Stacks coffee, vending machine goodies, or lunch at the Port Grille. It's important to note that one semester's Pilot Dollars cannot roll into the next semester and so on and so forth. Make sure to read the instructions carefully.

Pilot Dining Dollars is a sales tax-exempt, financial aid eligible meal option available to all face-to-face LSUS students.

Have you noticed that the Porte has daily specials? Did you know that they will deliver your food to you for free? Well, they do! And what is remoulade, you might ask? It is a Louisiana-style sauce made with horseradish, mayonnaise, spices and hot sauce. This is your chance to try it out!

Friday January 17th, 2025 (2 days from now) will be LSUS Hockey Night and Military Appreciation Night. Tickets are $15 and will include pre-skate, game admission, free popcorn, and additional food discounts.
