GSSLRadio.com's Gospel Angel was among other radio personality judges and other celebrated local talent today for the Southern Wit Song Competition at Southern University Shreveport! 🎤🎶

Contestants in this parody song jingle contest battled it out for the top prize of $1,000! Their performances were entertaining and hilarious, bringing the crowd to laughter, waves, and applause. 👏😂🎶

Congratulations to Crystal Thomas, who took home first place! 🏆🎉 The first and second runners-up received $500 and $250, respectively.

📢 Community Call to Action: Support Green Oaks High School! 🏀🏃🏾‍♂️

GSSLRadio.com' s Gospel Angel spoke with Deacon & Track Coach Nick People of Green Oaks High School and Basketball Coach Wiggins about the crucial role of local churches and community members in supporting our schools! 🙌

Coach Peoples and Coach Wiggins made a heartfelt appeal to the Green Oaks Parent Teacher Student Organization (PTSO) regarding fundraising, urging churches and alumni from the MLK area to rally behind their community school. Green Oaks' track team is the reigning 2024 District Champion, and both the track and basketball programs need community support to help to keep the legacy alive! 💪🏆

In response, the PTSO is launching the 'Giant Pledge' campaign—a movement calling on former students, graduating classes, churches, community members, and parishioners who grew up in the MLK area to invest in the future of Green Oaks High School!
