Hey all! I had a band have to cancel their session the weekend of August 19th and 20th. Anyone interested in booking at least one of those days and taking advantage of their deposit worth 2 hours of studio time? Minimum of 6 hours (you’d only have to pay for 4).

Restringing and doing a setup for this DK24 HSS-FR guitar. Putting some burly slinky's on it for lower tuning. Love this guitar and love the "specific ocean" color.

It feels like I pre-ordered this a while ago. It's finally here and I'm simply blown away by this amp. It's so great to be able to add this tone to my many clients project's and to my many bands project's. did a fantastic job along side Mike Soldano. It's such an amazing time to be making music.

My buddy Josh in New York (who refuses to use social media) likes to pay me in gear. In fact, I don't think he's paid me actual money in a long time. After comparing the Syn-2 plus Syn5050 power amp combo to the Syn-50 head...I decided to settle on the head. Got a Soldano SLO-30 on pre-order and I look forward to comparing it to the SLO module.

Other new stuff. Giving this preamp module system a try. So far I just have the SLO module, but I'm already very impressed. I compared it to the one time I got to record an SLO-100 that a client brought in... I have to say...surprisingly close. Maybe a tad more thump on the real amp.

Finally found a good deal on a used . Turned it on... nothing...I think this busted 12ax7 tube might be the culprit. Luckily I had some spares and it works great. Gonna retube the whole thing anyways.

I've tried for years to find some Yamaha ns10's that didn't have something wrong with them. I gave up that search when teamed up with to re-make the famous ns10's. The moment I heard them I said, "Yup... those are ns10's". They clearly need to break in, but otherwise... not too shabby.
