The propane stove takes the chill off, as does the sunshine coming in from the large front windows. The arches and shelving are original to the building, some of which was uncovered after the last Sherwood Post Office closed, just prior to our purchase. Keep in mind, this is the center of the store. There is a workshop to the left and a gallery to the right, not to mention the whole upstairs!

When we first got here the 160 year old plaster ceiling (circa 1855) was barely holding on to the lathe! We helped it down, insulated and installed bead board instead. This space was then used as the Music Studio and Meditation room as you've seen in the earlier photo. Lots of love went into this historic gem. It was the roofline that Henry calculated and fell for fast - a good roof over that much square footage! Enough for even his collection!
