🆕 Waves Audio has announced two new plugins - CR8 Creative Sampler and COSMOS samplers. The first tool is a flexible sampler capable of turning any signal into a musical instrument, the second is a free sample cataloger with its library of 2500 files.

✅ Waves COSMOS is a sampler with a library of audio files and smart sample cataloging features. According to the developers, COSMOS uses a built-in neural network to analyze, catalog, and sort a collection of files.

🔎 Users have access to three information display modes: Waveform, List, Cosmos. The plugin allows you to filter and search for loops and one-shots by instruments, tempo, key, and sound characteristics - brightness, saturation, and dynamics.

🗣 The developers note that to search for a saturated kick, it is enough to write the words “saturated” and “kick” in the search, after which the plugin will find suitable samples. You can select additional tags for your search query to refine your search for matching files. The found audio can be listened to directly in the plug-in interface, as well as transferred to the DAW window for use in the project.

😱 Audio Damage has released 34 plug-ins released by the company over the past 10 years. Developments have been transferred to the "Legacy" status, removed from support, and are now distributed free of charge.

🙌 Bandcamp has announced the return of the Bandcamp Friday initiative, in which musicians will receive 100% of the income from their music. This became known from the official press release of the platform.

😷 The Bandcamp Friday initiative was launched in March 2020 following the introduction of the first lockdowns due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The initiative offered assistance to independent musicians affected by coronavirus restrictions.

🤝 As planned by Bandcamp, within the framework of Fridays, musicians will receive 100% of the income from their music. “Profitable” days were held on the first Friday of each month until mid-2021
