Tonight, the Sheridan Blackhawks welcome in Western Boone for an evening of Boys Soccer action. The Blackhawks are looking to keep their winning ways going, having won back-to-back matchups, taking their record to 2-1 on the season. Western Boone will be looking to be the first road team to play soccer on the new turf, and come away with a win!

Tonight, the Sheridan Blackhawks travel to Denver, IN, to take on the North Miami Warriors. After falling to WeBo last week, the Hawks are looking to get their first win of the season. This is also the last non-conference matchup of the season.

The Lady Hawks take on the Achaeans of Herron in a night of soccer action tonight! The Hawks started their season off perfectly last week, going 3-0, and have yet to concede a goal. They will be looking to continue to hot start tonight.

Hey everyone! Just want you to know that we are experiencing an issue with Facebook, regarding our links for our broadcasts. We made our usual post with links early this morning, and Facebook took it down because they claim it violates a community rule.

This happened last week as well, and we were able to restore the post. A review is already underway for this morning's post. Sorry for the inconvenience.

BLACKHAWK FANS!!

Last year, we witnessed the power of our community coming together to support the football team, via a tunnel of fans as the team leaves the locker room.

This used to be a tradition that happened every week. LET'S BRING IT BACK!!! I want to see every parent, kid, uncle, aunt, heck, even imaginary friend, making a tunnel that leads the boys to the field!!

Let's get these boys FIRED UP tonight, and EVERY night this season!!

IT'S A FOOTBALL FRIDAY!!!

Tonight, the Sheridan Blackhawks begin their march back to Lucas Oil Stadium, with a matchup against the Western Boone Stars. The Hawks haven't defeated the Stars since 2020. Tonight also marks the first varsity football game on turf at Bud Wright Stadium. The Hawks will certainly want to get their first win of the season, on the new turf.

Tonight, we bring you Sheridan Girls Soccer, FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER, when the Hawks take on the Tigers of Northwestern High School. After a phenomenal season in 2023, the Lady Hawks hope to be even better this year. Lady Hawks also have the honor of being the first varsity contest on the new turf!

Despite our poll a few weeks ago about possibly charging, we will NOT be charging this season.

We have officially rounded out our broadcast crew for this Fall. Not all of these individuals will be at every broadcast, but they will all be involved in some way, through football season.

Daniel Bragg and Nick Doty will be back together as the primary broadcast announcers for ALL* football games.

For the first time in our young life, we will have a SIDELINE camera, manned by Tony Retz. This will take our broadcasts to a whole new level, and will also allow for POST GAME interviews with our Player of the Game!

This Fall, we will have three Sheridan students doing multiple duties for us, keeping with our mission of granting opportunities to our young professionals. Emily Will and Meredith Krupp will both performing duties in the Press Box with us, and Meredith will also handle our Instagram account! Our final student this season will be Ryker Ream, who will be a photographer with us, as another first for us.

When this adventure was first started, it was made with the intention of granting our athletes more exposure AND for providing young people with opportunities to get involved in broadcasting, something they might not have the chance to do otherwise. I am so thrilled to have these three with us this Fall. :)

Just a few weeks until our first broadcast! BTW, our first game of 2024-25 will be the Girls Soccer game against Northwestern, on August 21st, at 5:30pm.

We are VERY happy to announce that we currently have two students that will be with us this year! Meredith Krupp will be handling some camera work, possible Color Commentary, and some producing for us. Also, Ryker Ream will be a photographer/reporter for us. There are still opportunities for students, if they are interested!!

Also, we are officially less than 30 days away from our first broadcast of the year! We are still looking for a title sponsor. If you own a business, or know of a business that would be interest, please let us know!

Our broadcast schedule for the Fall is going to be our biggest yet, as we will be doing most of the boys and girls HOME soccer matches, as well as all of football!
