It’s that time of year when Wyoming Game and Fish wildlife biologists and wardens are putting together hunting season proposals for this coming fall.

Next month, the department will hold a series of open houses to gather information and answer questions of the public which will then be followed by a formal season setting meeting to be announced at a later date.

While appearing on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse, Game and Fish Public Information Specialist Christina Schmidt said these open house meetings are a casual setting offering a time for hunters, anglers and the general public to sit and have a conversation with biologists and game wardens.
