Santa, with the help of Shelby Police Department, lit up Downtown Shelby Sunday night after the Parade of Lights. He then heard the Christmas wishes of many good little girls and boys as they enjoyed hot cocoa and candy canes at the old Shelby Fire House 🎅🏼🎄💡

LIVE MUSIC RETURNS: Sidelined for more than a year-and-half by the coronavirus pandemic, live musical entertainment returned to Shelby High School’s Performing Arts Center on Sunday with the Butter Braid Concert. The special event showcased Shelby High School students and 6th, 7th and 8th graders at Shelby Middle School.

HELPING HANDS: Relatives of Shelby High School tennis players took the school's courts today to try and get the hard court surface dry so that the team could play its home match against Ontario. Working with leaf blowers in wet conditions were Bob Deane (blue jacket) and Larry Hicks. Deane's daughter Aly Deane and Hicks' granddaughter Mollie Eith are Whippets tennis players. Other volunteers later joined Deane and Hicks through efforts to sweep standing water off the tennis courts. The match ended up getting postponed by the rain.
