Seals end their season with a 48-7 loss to Jersey Shore in the District 4 4A semifinals.

Seals and the Bulldogs to open District 4 AAAA playoffs tonight, again!

There is a lot of history between these two 2 teams in district post season.

Since 2000, the Seals have a 32-9 record in District Playoffs. In those 24 years, the Seals have made the district playoffs 22 times and have won the district championship 13 times.
The losses were in 2003 and 2020 vs. Shamokin, 2010 vs. Shik, and 2012, 2016, 2018, 2019, 2021, and 2022 vs. Jersey Shore.
Selinsgrove is looking for back-to-back titles for the first time since the 2014-2015 seasons.

Seals fall to undefeated Danville 49-7 to close out the regular season. Selinsgrove will be back in action next week at Jersey Shore for the start of district playoffs.

Danville Series Notes:
In 88 career meetings, Danville leads the all-time series 43-42-3.
Even though the teams have not played since 2019, Selinsgrove has played Danville more than any other program in their history.
The teams played 86 times in every season between 1929 and 2013. They matched up once in a 1999 district playoff game, a 27-12 Danville win, led by then Ironman coach Carm DeFrancesco.
The Seals split their last two matchups with Danville winning 31-7 in 2018 and Selinsgrove winning 20-16 in 2019.
In the last matchup in 2019, the Seals relied on the legs of Nate Schon who ran for 185 yards and 3 TD to take the week 9 game 20-16. Now Bloomsburg University starting quarterback K.J. Riley, was intercepted 3 times, twice by Josh Nylund and once by Danny Shoch.
