Please welcome French artist Crystallmess to the Surefire roster! As a multidisciplinary DJ, producer, artist, writer, and director, she has made a name for herself in the music, fashion, and contemporary art worlds with Mixmag naming her one of the breakthrough DJs of 2022.

Crystallmess has an impressive resume, including residencies with Boiler Room and NTS Radio, and she was the first guest on Frank Ocean’s new Apple Music radio show. She has performed at prestigious venues like Lafayette Anticipations and the Centre Pompidou and has soundtracked events for brands such as Mugler, Marni, and Nike. She has also contributed as a journalist for VICE ’s I-D Magazine and guest lectured at Harvard University. Her debut EP “MERE NOISES” showcases her unique sound, which has caught the attention of artists like Kode9 and VTSS. Justin Broadrick is a British musician and producer known as the lead member of the industrial metal band Godflesh. Godflesh's fusion of heavy metal and industrial music, along with Broadrick's abrasive production, made them pioneers in the post-metal genre.

An enigmatic force exalted from Chicago’s underground (now currently based in Brooklyn) Hilario-Reyes has garnered well-deserved attention after raving contributions to , 4th World, , .berlin and many more. The dance floor and its participants act as a centralized element within their practice; contextualized as a ‘devotional, site of becoming and unbecoming’. They’ve developed a feedback loop that sees q***r underground nightlife as both the momentum and drive for much of their work both in and out of the confines of the dancefloor. MOREN###’s hypnotic yet blisteringly fast sound ranges with rapturous percussion and ethereal intensity: weaving dynamic rhythms across trance, techno, house and playful vocalization that culminates into something entirely its own. Taking inspiration from mid-late 90s, and early 00s dance music MOREN### blends the contemporary and the timeless with cyclonic fluidity, feeling both of the times and a product of what once was, as an ode to a q***r temporality. An authority in the goth and synthwave world, Sharlese’s encyclopedic knowledge of music and dedication to community building has cemented herself as one of the west coast’s most fascinating and sought after DJs. Sharlese has been in a clearly inspired place after 21 years of work in the Seattle scene, now finally she’s been breaking through: this year alone she’s had breakout sets at The Great Beyond, Nowadays Nonstop, WRECKED, Substance, IFM in the Netherlands and on top of that has released critically acclaimed mixes for pi pi pi and KIHDI podcasts. By day, Sharlese works at the legendary radio station KEXP as a DJ and producer of The Afternoon Show, Expansions, and Mechanical Breakdown as well as the station’s Programming Education Manager where she works closely with youth who are breaking into the radio industry. We are ecstatic to welcome London-based producer and DJ to the roster, .

At just 23 years of age, IMOGEN has had an unmatched trajectory from the London underground scene to become one of the most prominent stars in techno. IMOGEN was the youngest woman to DJ at Berghain at 18 years of age and has further made her mark with residencies at and . With her sound firmly rooted in techno, inspired growing up on her mum's record collection of 00s rave, breaks and acid. You can hear the influence from this era through IMOGENs delivery in her sets which gave her a depth to her sound that caught the ear of many tastemakers. At the age of 16 she took the bold step to move to London to study Electronic Music where she began her career.

Fast forward to 2022 with a touring schedule consisting of every festival and club in Europe worthy of any mention, IMOGEN has firmly established herself as one of technos key talents. Using her experience to date and platform, IMOGEN created Wigs as a community to elevate new artists through the label, community workshops on production, industry education and Wigs curated club nights.

IMOGEN’s first solo EP ‘What?’ on Voitax garnered rave reviews from the likes of Resident Advisor, DJ Mag and beyond. After her last EP with collaborator Ben Pest sold out in the blink of an eye, the anticipation of IMOGEN’s first solo EP paid off with an undeniable punk spirit. Her other works include tracks in Various Artists compilations including fabric, Earwiggle and H**R. Melt festival saw the debut live show from T.I.P. in which IMOGEN teamed up with MC TripSix Vivo and P**l, creating a genre-bending hybrid of grime, electro and drum and bass with EP dropping on Club Qu records earlier in the year. This was London meets Berlin at its experimental finest. The trio continue to build their sonic identity with more live shows locked in for the rest of the year.

We are extremely thrilled to welcome Fadi Mohem aka "the new face of Berghain" (via Resident Advisor). Fadi Mohem’s sound and style are marked by contradictions that, rather than detracting from each other, culminate in a wholly unique expression that surprises and inspires. The urgency and propulsion of his sets as well as productions are belied by a deft and almost surgical attention to detail, unfolding at a confident pace instead of a feverish frenzy. Growing up in Berlin, Fadi Mohem has been a staple part of the city’s club scene with influence from classic Detroit techno, Berlin dub techno, drum ’n’ bass, and IDM. Joining us at the Surefire family is the undeniable force, London-based producer and DJ .

Appearing on a lineup with the mighty Helena Hauff would be a serious achievement for any artist, but for Effy, it was one of her very first gigs. Since then, a string of well received singles and remixes during lockdown earned Effy the accolade of being one of Pete Tong’s Future Stars of 2021 as well as a resident of The Warehouse Project. In 2022, having already played at venues like Motion in Bristol, Leeds’ Mint Warehouse and at fabric with Mary Anne Hobbs, Effy is slated to play festivals like Terminal V, Junction 2, Parklife and Secret Garden Party, along with an Ibiza debut.

After her early singles (“Fluffy Clouds,” “Planet B,” “Ara”) captured a hazy and extraterrestrial energy, her recent four-track EP, Not What It Seems, sees Effy stepping into the sounds that she turns to when she DJs: blistering acid, thundering breakbeats, and mind-bending techno. From a growling synth and fierce, broken drums Prodigy-influenced collab with Mall Grab to a wordless emotive vocal melody with stirring synth lines of the closing track “Vexed”, Effy’s work has evolved into a harder, darker, faster style. The EP’s lead single, “Not Yours,” shares its title with the name of Effy’s new label, via which she has released the record. Effy plans to launch a club night of the same name, a community-focused party named for the fact that we, women, do not belong to anyone.

Following in the footsteps of dance music luminaries like Hobbs, Effy wants to use her space in the industry to celebrate women artists. She continues to stake her claim, create room for her peers and set dance floors alight. It’s clear Effy is exactly where she’s supposed to be. We're delighted to welcome Detroit-raised, Berlin-based DJ, artist, promoter, and producer Miguel Senquiz to Surefire Agency. Active since the late 90s, is veteran of the US underground and co-founder of The Vibe Mechanical (), a monthly radio show on .live in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

A generation younger than heroes and friends like Mike Servito, Patrick Russell, and Derek Plaslaiko, Miguel arrived in Detroit already immersed in music through his mom’s career as a radio DJ and nightlife promoter. She provided his start in the industry and his introduction to proper local electronic music through her work at nightclubs, exposing him to Plastikman, Jeff Mills, and Moodymann while in his teens. Senquiz immediately submerged himself in Detroit’s exploding rave scene, DJing house parties and voraciously consuming music, journalism, and artists from the Midwest to New York, where he lived for 13 years before moving to Berlin.

A roster DJ for throughout the mid-2010s, by 2016 he had claimed residencies both in Miami’s Electric Pickle and Brooklyn’s Panther Room, two of the US’s most renowned clubs of that era, performing domestic and international gigs along side the likes of Ryan Elliott, DJ Nobu, DVS1.

From Jupiter to Berlin and countless capitals in between, Lutz has always operated best on the very outskirts of dance floor culture. A master of mystery and relentless seeker, his knack for unearthing precious gemstones, for immediate exploitation and then, slowly but surely, the greater good of the community, is uncanny, and its this insistence on clearing a path between the unknown and the utterly unexpected that elevate his sets into explorations of faraway lunar landscapes and charters through the depths of murky seas.
